John Green

Master Green is a direct disciple of Grandmaster Huang, Chien-Liang. He started his training in martial arts in 1986 and began studies under Grandmaster Huang in 1997. He is a 5th degree Black Sash under the certification standards of The World Kuoshu Federation.

A national, international and World level Tai Chi champion, Master Green has placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in empty hand forms, weapons forms and pushing hands at national and international Chinese martial arts tournaments. He was awarded seven medals at the 2nd World Kuoshu Championship Tournament, held by The World Kuo Shu Federation in 2006 in Singapore, including 4 1st place medals. Master Green has also been the Internal Arts Competitor of the Year in 2002 and 2007, as recognized by the United States Kuo Shu Federation (USKSF).

Master Green has delivered numerous seminars on Tai Chi & Qi Gong, the ancient Chinese art of movement for ultimate health and wellness. Master Green's programs include exercises to invigorate the body, mind and spirit. This exercise incorporates full body movement with special attention to strengthening the joints and stretching the muscles. All exercises are designed for every student of all ages and capabilities. Focus is also placed on meditation to increase relaxation and mental clarity. Master Green's desire is to promote the ancient teachings of Tai Chi Chuan to the world. 

Master Green earned a Bachelors of Science degree from University of Virginia in Engineering.  He works as an Account Manager for one of the largest software companies in the world.
