Krystal Martos

I am a 39 year old licensed Esthetician, certified Sugarista (sugar hair removal), Professional DJ, cycling and Certified Yoga Instructor. I have been active all my life.  Aside from teaching Yoga, I enjoy playing beach volleyball, running, hiking.  I love being outdoors and I enjoy working with large groups. I have tons of energy. I have a very fun and conversational approach to fitness. I began my training in Power Yoga with Core Power. I then went on to study Anusara and traditional Hatha. I've taught a variety of Yoga classes from, hatha, power, gentle, pi-yo and vinyasa. Fitness is my life! I was the Master Trainer at YAS fitness center. We specialized in the Hybrid spin class followed by yoga. I also completed Yoga Sculpt training at Corepower Yoga. (Yoga with weights and Tabata) During the pandemic I studied 200 hour training for Hot Power Fusion at CP. I teach Yoga at Knot Springs Social Club and Yoga Six. I am currently studying TRX Yoga. I work with all levels. I also studied an additional 80 hour children's yoga course with The Lotus Seed, a non profit organization. 

In February 2015 I graduated top of my class from The Aveda Institute, Portland. Shortly after I became certified in sugar hair removal, a less irritating and natural form of hair removal. I opened my own boutique spa in June 2016 and opened the second location in October. I specialize in sugaring and facials with energy work. I incorporate Reiki, a Japanese relaxation technique with all of my facials and yoga adjustment. In 2019 I completed Level 3, Reiki certification. 

For the last 17 years I have been a professional DJ my work has taken me all over the United states. I had residencies in New York at Lavo restaurant and in Los Angeles at the Standard Hotel. I've worked with music labels and artists. In 2013 I toured with the Jonas Brothers and in 2015 I worked with Janelle Monae as her DJ for the finale episode of "American Idol." I currently work closely with Nike Portland and Doernbecher's Children's Hospital for contract DJ jobs and events.
