Alicia Zabrocki

Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Alicia and her husband, Doug, opened their studio in 2007. Pilates Center of Chicago is a continuing education facility for certified instructors and values creating relationships in the community.  Alicia was formerly a senior Power Pilates Teacher Trainer, teaching certification programs nationally and internationally for Power Pilates from 2002-2011.   Pilates Center of Chicago is a licensed Xtend Barre studio and Alicia is an Xtend Barre Teacher Trainer. She was the co-owner of The Pilates Center of the Southwest and the director of Power Pilates Training Center with her husband in Scottsdale, Arizona from 2002-2007.

Her background includes 10 years of competitive gymnastics and an accomplished professional modern dance career. She received her B.F.A in Dance from the University of Illinois, and was classically trained and certified in Pilates by Romana Kryzanowska, under the mentorship of Juanita Lopez in 1997. Alicia became a leader and teacher early on in her pilates career.

Alicia teaches Pilates, Xtend Barre, Circuit training and Indo-Row.  Her hobbies include cooking, hiking, and being with their dog, Shadow.
