Becky Hardesty

Becky Hardesty has played tennis for 38 years, including Division I college tennis for University of Alabama, and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.  She has played singles & doubles at the NTRP 5.0-4.5 USTA levels.  Becky has taught private and group lessons for the past 15 years.  She has been the primary coach to her children:  Julie(21), Daniel(18), Laura Beth(15) and Dawson(11).  Julie attained a ranking of 40 in the South. Daniel was no. 1 ranked in the boys 10’s, and is playing college tennis in the fall for Lee University.  She has spent thousands of hours training her kids and traveling to all different levels of tournaments.  Some of the coaches that have mentored Becky have been: David DePalmer, Martin Zumpt, and David Wilson.

 Becky grew up in St.Louis, Missouri.  Becky’s received some of the best tennis training in St.Louis, Mo from Bill Minz and Dick Salzenstein, from ages 13-18, ranked in the top 5 in St.Louis.  She also trained for a week at the Harry Hoppman’s tennis camp which is now Saddlebrook resort.
