I began in fitness as a runner in high school and, after competing in several fitness contests, carried my love of training the body into Group Fitness certification in 1992. Since that time I have certified and taught formats in all areas of Group Fitness and have worked to train other instructors as a Master Instructor Trainer, with specialty training in Aqua, Yoga, and the willPower Method (barefoot training). In 2002 I certified in Personal Training and started my own Personal Training business. I hold several national certifications and have certified in many other specialty formats, including Zumba, BodyPump, Cycling, Coreboard, BOSU, & Silver Sneakers. I am a 200-Hour RYT through the Yoga Alliance and recently visited India to learn more about the history of yoga.
