Andre Feliz

I started playing tennis at the age of 2. I began playing tournaments at the age of six and have competed in multiple tournaments ever since then including titles such as: Easter bowl, Kalamazoo, Winter Super nationals, Carson ITF grade 1, Sectionals, Copper Bowl, and Zonals, just to name a few. I competed in every division, age groups 10’s through 18’s, and have been at the least top 20 in every division in SoCal and top 100 in the country. Because of my accomplishments in the junior tour, I was recruited to multiple division 1 schools with scholarships all over the country, but the five main schools I narrowed it down to were: UCI, UCR, SDSU, UCSB and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I did take a recruiting trip to each one of them to help narrow my decision and in the end I decided to play for SDSU for both their tennis program and academics. I competed all four years for SDSU finishing top 3 in the line up. I am currently now teaching tennis and waiting to play the professional tournament coming soon in Southern California.
