Tamsy Markham

Tamsy Markham is Creative Director & Founder of High Street Yoga Studio and North East Power Yoga, both located in Westerly Rhode Island.  She graduated from Skidmore College with a major in Philosophy and a minor in Asian Studies. These ancient teachings continue to inspire and impress upon Tamsy that the mind/body/soul connection of yoga are an integral part of her own evolution as well as sharing it through teaching Vinyasa Yoga and in training teachers.

Tamsy began training with Baron Baptiste directly in 2002.  Tamsy has attended and assisted Baron Baptiste at yoga teacher trainings, personal revolution bootcamps and Yoga Journal Conferences held both nationally & internationally.  She is certified by Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour and E-RYT 500 level, 500-hour with Baptiste Power Yoga Institute and is a Certified Yoga Life Coach.
