Eva Lenart moved to the USA eight years ago after having taught in several European countries, having served as a methodologist and language instructor for the American Peace Corps, and having spent a year as a Fulbright scholar in the United States.  She teaches several courses at the Rabun Gap Nacoochee School, drawing on her rich background in literature, languages, and applied linguistics. She has M.A. degrees in three different areas which require fluency in Russian, English, and Hungarian. Beside languages and literature, her passion is music and dancing.  She graduated from a high school for the arts in her home country, Hungary, specializing in vocal performance, but at the same time she gained expertise in ballroom dancing as well. By the beginning of her college years she had reached the semi-professional level in Latin dance. “I consider my parents, my best teachers and sponsors in dancing. They love dancing together, and dance every chance they get, even today when they are 70+ years old. This really inspires me to dance and show my students that dancing is ageless, and can be the secret for a happy and long life.” Eva is a certified Zumba teacher, an official ZIN member, and has participated in a number of Zumba jam sessions and has taught Zumba classes in the USA and Europe.
