Lisa-Marie Lewis

Lisa-Marie Lewis has been a professional dancer in New York City for over a decade.  She has toured internationally with the Dance Theatre of Harlem, kicks up her heels with the Radio City Rockettes and performs nightly with the cast of The Lion King on Broadway.  Lisa began on her own path of healing and yoga ten years ago . Due to her background she was instantly drawn to the delicate balance between movement and stillness, however, it was the therapeutic healing effects of yoga that got her hooked. By blending a strong vinyasa practice combined with gentler restorative and meditative asanas, Lisa offers a dynamic yoga practice full vigor and grace.  Lisa received her teacher training in 2006 and has been blessed to study with many wonderful teachers on and off the mat.  She is currently pursuing her 500hr certification with and interest in yoga therapy and teaching yoga as a healing art for those facing specific health challenges.
