I began teaching at the YMCA 13 years ago as a belly dance instructor. After completing my Fitness Specialist training at Mesa College, I was hired at the YMCA as a personal trainer. I worked one year in that position and then was promoted to a full time position as a Fitness Coordinator. I have held this position for 10 years. At the present, I teach 7 to 12 classes a week as well as perform all my administrative duties.
