- LINDA KANG
Linda Kang has over 500 hours of yoga training obtaining her first 200-hour yoga teacher training designation at Toronto’s Downward Dog Yoga Center in 2011. She has also studied 100 hour in the art of hands-on adjustments.
She has also participated in various enriching workshops led by David Robson, Annie Carpenter and Anodea Judith. She is eternally grateful to numerous other mentors and teachers who have guided her over the years.
Linda teaches yoga as a moving meditation with an emphasis on the proper alignment of poses and activation of the proper muscle groups. She caters to each student’s flexibility and strength level. Linda’s introduction to yoga came over fifteen years ago in hatha form to relieve low back pain and sciatica issues. She has a deep respect for the healing nature of the hatha yoga practice.
As a compliment to yoga, she practices Reiki energy healing and provides a unique treatment that includes chakra balancing and angel card readings in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
When she is not teaching, Linda enjoys drinking coffee, staring off into space (as prescribed by Anne Lamott), reading (mostly, vampire book series), tinkering with novel writing and doing tricks on the flying trapeze.
