Sharyn Greenberg

The healing arts have always been of interest to Sharyn due to her active lifestyle.  She grew up playing sports, has a deep passion for running outdoors, and she enjoys new challenges such as rock climbing and dance.  Massage has consistently been a part of her life to relieve pain, increase range of motion, and allow her to do the things she loves.  While a student at San Diego State University, she realized that although massage therapy has many benefits to the muscular-skeletal system, there is a deeper level of healing that also occurs.   At this time Sharyn began a journey through meditation, yoga, and a holistic lifestyle, which, upon graduation, guided her to Mueller College of Holistic Studies where she obtained over 1000 hours of study and hands on practice to become a Holistic Health Practitioner.

At Mueller, Sharyn took a course on Ayurveda (the sister science of yoga), which shifted her perspective on many aspects of life.  With this new information, she decided to dive deeper into the beauty of yoga, as a way to better understand the interconnectedness of the world.  In 2010 she studied with Laura Plumb and Bhava Ram, the founders of Deep Yoga, and completed their 200-hour Mastery of Life Yoga Teacher Training Program.  She is forever grateful for the lessons that were shared and the graceful science of yoga.  However, there is still so much to learn!  In 2011, Sharyn traveled to India where she immersed herself in the energy of yogis, past and present.  She continues to study the wisdom of Ayurveda and yoga so she can share the knowledge with her community.  Currently she deepens her education by attending workshops and classes to stay up to date on the latest modalities and wellness tools so she can always provide stellar, effective service.  She will complete her 500-hour RYT certification in November 2012 through a Yoga Therapeutics program.  An avid traveler, Sharyn teaches yoga around the country.  She spent September sharing yoga and Ayurveda at the Salt Lake City Yoga Fest, and is a teacher at the Josha Tree Roots Festival this October.
