Teaching yoga is very rewarding experience both physically and psychologically. Teaching is a kind of meditation in action. I have started doing yoga first in 2006, after falling from the stairs and going through back injury. Amazed by how good it felt from the first class I kept going, practicing regularly. Eventually all pains were gone and the practice transformed me to being healthier, stronger and a better person. I kept exploring a number of studios in Toronto, checking which style is best for me. I enjoy ashtanga flow, while classical hatha is a good way to get into a deeper practice. Being slower doesnt mean one has less benefits, working with movement and breath one finds inner ballance and better flexibility. I chose to do my training with Sivananda, at Quebec ashram as it gives full immersion, living together with teachers, being there for the whole month and enjoying company of like minded people, learning together. We enjoyed a number of different experiences: karma yoga, bhakti, chanting, hatha and beautiful nature of the mountains around. In my classes, I am giving all my positive energy, bringing all the knowledge and adapting to the needs of students. Having a regular personal practice helps me to understand better how I can help others deepen my knowledge. There's no person (body) alike so one needs to be in tune and feel the flow of the class.
