Taylor Sweeney....

Born to do great things.

Since I was young  it was second nature to find me dancing. Music and dance were always my passion. I never was in organized dance, that wasn't needed for me, I just needed a beat and room to let go. I would routinely gather all my friends and choreograph dances to perform for anyone who would watch. I continued through high school and AVEDA. Soon after I found the job of my dreams. A beautiful 5,000 sq foot salon and spa. I was able to use my massage therapy and hairstylist qualifications. I was with Salon Avalon for 5 years. While working there I found a deep love and passion for group fitness. I started with hip hop, turbo kick, and then my favorite of all ZUMBA!!!! I went to one class and was hooked, I vowed that one day I would teach my love of music and dance to anyone that would join me through ZUMBA. 

In December of 2011 I decided to move from MN of (14 yrs) to GA to be close to family. Unbenonst to me my Zumba instructor dream was rapidly approaching. I found a certification course near my home and jumped on the opportunity. I joined to ZIN membership and have been dancing ever since, Ironically when I began teaching I suffered from immense stage fright, but I knew that I had to do it or I never would. So I subbed my first calss. It was exhilarating, the rush and the overpowering joy I felt sharing my love of so long with a group of women, half of which had never taken Zumba.That was the tip of the iceberg. I have many Zumba instructor friends who encouraged me to hop on stage with them or even lead the class with my songs and choreo.  From there I got alot of exposer and that lead to teaching and volunteering for local events and charities alike. I teach Zumba because I love it, I love watching people transform and enjoy working out. For me there is no excuse for a boring workout. 

I have been fortunate enough to travel to do hair, massages, and I even taught  Zumba this summer (2012) in Playa Del Carmen, in a neighborhood that I rented a house. Hence "ZumbaGringa" was born!

I LOVE Zumba, I love teaching and I am ready to take this career to a new level through your company. I am super fast paced and I get get anyone to break a sweat with a smile. ZumbaGringa~let's get things shakin!!!
