Donna Minotti was an Assistant Health and Wellness Coordinator at Covidien, Surgical Solutions for 14 years. Being a physical fitness professional for more than 25 years, Donna shares her passion for health and wellness with clients, family and friends. In addition, she is an adjunct faculty member, and has taught accredited Pilates courses at Quinnipiac University for 12 years and currently assistant teaching graduate courses at Ohio University with the Athletic Coaching Education Program. Donna had become one of the first MELT Method Self Treatment Practitioners in the country, instructing and educating Covidien employees on this technique and introducing the technique at Quinnipiac University. She is a Master Spinning Instructor and International Presenter for Spinning, representing Mad Dogg Athletics; and a Peak Pilates Comprehensive Instructor. Being involved in many philanthropic activities, she has trained twenty Covidien employees, taking them to New York City to run the NYC Half and Full Marathon joining Team for Kids. She has also trained a corporate team for a charity bike ride in support of The Hole In the Wall Gang Camp in CT for 4 years and continues to participate in the ride each year. Donna is certified by the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America as a group fitness instructor. She holds personal trainer certifications from the American Exercise Council. Donna is certified by the C.H.E.K. Institute as a holistic Nutrition/Lifestyle Coach. Donna holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from Southern Connecticut State University and a Masters degree in Athletic Coaching Education from Ohio University. Currently residing in FL she teaches at Core Concepts Pilates & Fitness Studio, Mirasol Country Club, and as mentioned an adjunct faculty member for Ohio University's online undergrad and graduate programs. She recently became a Special Olympics Coach.
