Sharon Wells

I am Sharon Wells, founder of Yoga On Chocolate, LLC and Pure Ojas Products. A Certified Baptiste Power Vinyasa Teacher, since 2006 & recognized by the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute's (BPYI) and Yoga Alliance's highest level of standards as an E-RYT500.

My journey began as a dancer, using my bones, muscles and emotions to convey a story on stage. As fulfilling as it was, it ended at the age of 34 with a severe hamstring injury. I tried Karate and practiced many different forms of Yoga to help fill the void, but it was only after I discovered Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga in 2000, that everything changed within me. I love the structure and discipline, the sweat and spirituality, the way to “heal” through a physical practice.

My classes have been described as "athletic" or "vigorous" & I have trained Professional Athletes including AHL, NHL Hockey players and Major League Baseball Players, but I never forget, my favorite, the "beginner student".

 

I am honored to lead students in Fire Starter Sessions at Retreats around the world, to ignite the Soul Fire Within!

 

I also have the opportunity to travel and assist my teacher, Baron Baptiste at Teacher Trainings & Bootcamps and I am so happy to be part of an amazing community of students, teachers & friends.
