National Tennis Achievements

During 1997-2002 I have competed in various Romanian national tournaments and I have reached the semi-finals and finals of multiple tournaments, including:

• 1997 - 2002 Regional Junior Single Champion
• 1999 – Junior Singles Winner and Doubles Semi-finalist in “Transylvania’s Cup”
• 2000 – Open Singles Runner up and Doubles Semi-finalist in “Ruxandra Dragomir’s Cup”
• 1999-2002 – Member of Romanian National Junior Team

ITF Juniors Achievements

During 2000-2002 I have participated in a variety of ITF Junior events, reaching an ITF Junior Singles Ranking Career High # 252 (Jan 2002) and Doubles Career High # 167 (Jan 2002).

Highlights of 2001 - 2002 ITF Juniors doubles results include:

• Semi Finalist with K. Blocker - Israel International Junior Championship
• Semi Finalist with B. Kovac - Mediterranee Junior Circuit
• Semi Finalist with D. Leonyuk – Tournoi International De La Ville de Tunis
• Semi Finalist with S. Matei – 1^stCarthago Cup
• Semi Finalist with B. Kovack (lost against Sania Mirza/Mrazovic) – Smash Tennis International Junior Championship
• Semi finalist with G. Butkevych – Aphrodite Cup
• Quarter Finalist with B. Kovac – Movenpick International Junior Tournament
• Quarter Finalist with A. Chiriaco - The Saadia Rees ITF Junior Circuit Tournament
• Quarter Finalist with B. Kovac (won over ElTabakh/Rose in 1^stround) - Raquette D’Or

ITF Women Achievements

During 2000 – 2004 I have trained in Spain at the Altur and Alvarino Tennis Academy, with elite players including Dinara Safina, Anabel Medina, David Ferrer and Igor Andreev. While at the Academy in Spain, I have competed in various Spanish national events and in 2002 I was the Runner-up in Lleida Spanish Championship under the age of 21.

During 2000-2004 I have also played at #1 position for singles and doubles in the German league for THC Muenster and TC Hamburg, contributing to the success of their team.

Also, during 2000 – 2003 I have competed in a variety of ITF Women events, reaching a WTA Single Ranking Career High # 957 (July 2003) and Doubles High # 583 (Jul 2003).

Highlights of 2000 – 2003 ITF Women doubles results include:

• Finalist with A. Zotta – $10,000 Lagos
• Semi-finalist with A. Zotta – $10,000 Lagos
• Quarter-finalist with C. Homewood - $10,000 Benin
• Quarter-finalist with M. Caiazzo - $10,000 Cairo
• Qualified for Main Draw in over thirteen $10,000 doubles events

NCAA Division I Achievements

In 2004 I was recruited by numerous Division I Universities including University of Miami, University of Florida, Fresno State University and Long Beach State. I’ve decided to accept the scholarship from Long Beach State University, which was rank in the top 50 Division I at the time I joined.

During 2004-2005 I have played #5-6 position for singles and #3 position for doubles for Long Beach State, having a winning record of 12-10 singles and 6-5 doubles. In 2005 I have contributed to the team’s success in winning the Big West Conference and qualifying for the NCAA Championship.
