Meredith has been practicing yoga for almost 3 years, but her background as a competitive gymnast and college cheerleader prepared her for the challenge in both strength and flexibility that is hot yoga! Meredith also spent over 10 years as a gymnastics instructor and all-star cheerleading coach.
She began her yoga adventure four years ago and continues to regularly practice as much as possible. Meredith completed a month-long intensive training in the Moksha yoga series in Brazil and is a 300 hour certified instructor.
Moksha yoga is a green, clean, hot yoga series that stretches, strengthens and tones the muscles while detoxifying the body and calming the mind. While all classes are rooted in the Moksha Yoga series, teachers are encouraged to bring their own unique knowledge and experience every time they enter the room to teach.
The Moksha principles, in keeping with Meredith’s philosophy, assert that yoga should be accessible to all levels of ability – from beginners to advanced practitioners.
In addition to teaching the Moksha series, Meredith is well-equipped to teach fusion, vinyasa and classes.
