- Julie Boyda
Julie grew up in Northern Ontario and spent many summers living in a tent as a researcher and canoe guide. This
work lead her to start weight training to reduce the risk of injury while portaging canoes and packs across miles of
portages in isolated wilderness areas. Spending up to ten days at a time in the silent wilderness also lead her to the
yoga practice. She received her Bachelor in Applied Science in Food and Nutrition and then immersed herself in
hundreds of hours of Yoga Teacher training and meditation retreats.
