Sara discovered Pilates as a young ballet dancer in Chicago, Illinois and instantly fell in love with the exercises and the dramatic impact it had on her dancing. After experiencing the benefits firsthand, Sara continued to practice Pilates while attending the University of Illinois from which she graduated with honors. In her never-ending pursuit of knowledge of exercise science and wellness, Sara earned her personal trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Training is a natural fit for Sara as she spent the last three years as a special education teacher at a low-income high school in Houston.
Combining patience and passion with science and experience, Sara’s goal is to create a positive and motivating training environment and to show that fitness can become part of everyone’s life. Sara is also certified as a fitness nutrition specialist from NASM and enjoys experimenting in the kitchen with healthy and tasty vegan dishes.
