Mariangelica Carrasquillo Mangual
Mariangélica Carrasquillo-Mangual was born on September 18, 1984 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She grew up in Carolina, Puerto Rico living with her parents until the age of 20. She then moved to Mayaguez, PR to finish her bachelor degree at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez.. In the summer of 2008, Mariangelica moved to Champaign, IL looking to obtain her Master degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. She have reside on the city since then.
Due to her Hispanic heritage, she has always enjoy Latin infuse rhythms. She started doing Zumba in 2010 as a member of Refinery gym in Champaign, IL and got passionate about it. Mariangelica is certified on basic Zumba by the Zumba Academy.Her advantage as a Zumba instructor is that she understands the music use on the party workout 
. Most of these rhythms are injected in her blood from the day she was born. Merengue was the first music Mariangelica was taught to dance when she was little, Salsa is a must have if your come from PR and Reggaeton, a rhythm that was born in her hometown, Carolina and one of her favorite type of music.
