Lisa Gilmurray

  I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Public Relations from Marist College (Pouhkeepsie, NY) and a Masters of Admistrative Science from Centenary College (Hackettstown, NJ).  I also studied abroad during my undergraduate years (junior) at Salzburg College, Austria.  I have a Certificate in Criminal Justice from Seton Hall University (NJ) and a Police Training Certification.  I have been a police officer since 1997 and have been assigned to various units.  Most notably was my experience as a full time drill instructor with the Somerset County Police Academy.  I have trained several hundred police recruits and seasoned officers in the areas of physical training, self defense, boxing, swimming and nutrition.  Most of my training experience during this time was with large groups anywhere from 20-75 people in one session.  

 I created my own business in 2009, IPTU, LLC.  I have several clients, some that are one-on-one training and others are small groups. I have also volunteered my training experience to the community where I have taught handicapped adults, youth groups and adult groups within the state. I have taught several classes to colleges, community groups and police organizations on the topic of nutrition as well.

 My specialties are boot camp style and functional circuit training.

 I am married and have 2 children.  I love working out myself as I have completed several road races, 24 hour relays, tough mudder, competed in fighting tournament, and triathlon.  I have a black belt in mixed martial arts and have been training on and off for the last 18 years. 

 I enjoy traveling and would love to combine these two passions together. I believe it would be a wonderful experience.
