Ashley Johnson

From age 8-13 I trained in ballet, jazz, pointe and tap with Kris Cangelosi Dance and Company in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I was a member of my high school dance team from 1995-1998 and captain for two of those years at the Dunham School in Baton Rouge. I was a member of the Samford University Dance team from 1998-1999 in Birmingham, AL. From 2003-2006 I taught ballet and jazz at the Children's Dance Foundation in Birmingham, AL. From 2003-2010 I performed with Birmingham's modern company Sanspointe Dance Company. In 2010 I started taking Zumba at my gym and then in March of 2011 got certified to teach Zumba. I've been teaching at the Levite Jewish Community Center in Birmingham, AL since I was certified last March.
