My start in gym training began with aerobics, as a teenager employed by my mother's sole-owned fitness company.  After 3 years of teaching STEP, high/ low impact and bodyscultping classes, I moved onto StonyBrook University to pursue my college degree.  During my university stay, I created and managed an aerobic program for students through the on-campus gym facility.  It included STEP and cardio classes.

As a "gym rat" for most of my life, it seemed a natural progression to continue teaching classes and begin training.  I have a husband and 3 children who keep me very busy, so my one-on-one time is at a minimal.  Luckily, group classes are my best option to continue doing what I love.

After suffering physical injuries, I found help and solace with yoga in 1998.  I've loved exploring the many aspects, both physical and spiritual of yoga and naturally brought yoga into my fitness reperatoire of teaching.

My favorite time to exercise is on vacation when I have the freedom to do whatever I want in the most beautiful settings.  I've met terrific people taking classes on vacation and found many new styles that way.  I would love to incorporate teaching classes to my own vacation now.
