Christine Somerville

I began my teaching career in 1985 after graduating from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. My years in the classroom involved working as a substitute teacher as well as team teaching at the elementary school level. In 1995 my husband was transferred to the other side of Canada to Nova Scotia where we continue to reside. My teaching career shifted at that time from the school room to the fitness world as I needed a job that allowed me to work around my family's schedule and needs. Beginning a second career as a Personal Trainer I soon discovered that I hadn't changed careers at all, merely the environment and type of student. Along the way I have a found my passion is working with individuals to help them build a solid foundation from which all other aspects of health and wellness develop. A foundation which begins with a strong core and leads to strength, mobility and flexibility throughout the rest of the body.
