ike many, I dabbled in yoga for many years. I would go to a class once a month or whenever I could. I enjoyed it but wouldn’t have considered myself a yogini until I began studying with Shelly Bellanti in 2008. Through my dad’s encouragement I began practicing in private sessions with Shelly once a week and noticed a big change.

The yoga practice made me more aware of my mind, spiritual self,  emotions, and body. I began to recognize the connection was there and constant. More amazingly, I found the final piece of the puzzle when it came to managing my life. Not to say it’s perfect all the time but I am able to celebrate all the small miracles and roll with it when bad stuff happens, much easier than I could before.

It was through that recognition that I realized I wanted to share yoga with others. While we’re all unique I believe everyone can benefit from a yoga practice in their own way. So in October 2010 I began the Tillai 200 hour teacher training through Om Time in Boulder. Studying with Shannon Paige Schneider in the Vinyasa style has been the perfect complement to my studies with Shelly Bellanti.

Evolution is a constant part of my teaching. I am always learning and moving forward, especially in the area of yoga as a piece of collaborative therapy for depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and disordered eating.

My classes are designed to help you listen to your own voice, be guided by your strength, and stoke the fires of your amazing energy and light. My Vinyasa style is a slow, deliberate alignment-focused flow using guided awareness, breath work, and tailored sequences for a fun safe practice. I call it Rejuvenation Flow. You'll leave feel energized and ready to thrive!
