Graduate of UCLA and Fitness Instructor since 2004, Amanda Muenzer has helped motivate and inspire thousands of people to have fun while getting fit. Her specialty is dance based workouts and bootcamps. Her energetic, fun-loving, and humorous presence help people forget they are working so hard while they workout! She has seen many of her participants go from an inactive, sedentary lifestyle to an active, healthy one because her classes help keep them inspired to consistently workout! At UCLA, she teaches Latin Cardio Party (Zumba), Pop Diva Workout, Total Body Strength and Conditioning, Pilates, Bootcamp , Functional Training Over Forty and the UCLA Health Improvement Program.
It's no surprise to her family that Amanda has been such a natural fitness teacher and motivator! Her dad is a baseball coach and physical education teacher for the Long Beach Unified School District and her mother has been a Health Educator and fitness instructor since the 70's. They both still workout every day and inspire the world to fitness just like Amanda now does.
Amanda has a background heavy in sports as well as dance. She played competively in soccer, softball, volleyball, basketball and tennis. She was on Varsity soccer all four years of high school and a U19 Premier Club Soccer Team from 1999-2001. She was also on the Varsity Dance team at her high school and went on to major in Dance and Cultural Studies at UCLA from 2002-2006. She continues to dance and perform for various projects in Los Angeles. Her latest endeavor is ballroom dance! She is now performing regularly with the YCD Studio Ballroom Dance Team led by coach Anna Trebunskaya from Dancing With the Stars.
