Cristina Kalas

I have been practicing Yoga for over eight years. It has become a huge part of my life when I completed a one month intensive teacher training in Calgary at Yoga Passage in the summer of 2009. I have contracted out to schools, privately, Yoga studios around the city, etc., throughout the past 3 years as an instructor. I am now currently enhacing my studies in the areas of Mindfulness practices and completing my Masters in Psychology as a result of my experiences with Yoga. I typically enjoy teaching quite a physical class, as inspired by the Ishta approach to Yoga. I mainly have a focus on Vinyasa style classes and tend to modify my style of teaching each class based on my students that are present. I would love an opportunity to share my love of the practice, and help motivate others to balance the physical and mindful aspects of Yoga while enjoying themselves during their holidays.
