A native of Connecticut, Sara first stumbled upon yoga while she was in college in New York City. Immediately hooked, she enrolled in a 200 Interdisciplinary Yoga Teacher Training at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica. At NYI, she studied Vinyasa and Self-Awakening Yoga with Don and Amba Stapleton. She later went on to complete her Prenatal Teacher Training at YogaWorks in New York City under the guidance of Carrie Parker Gastelu.
An RYT, she she leads a compassionate and upbeat flow. In all of her classes, she combines asana, pranayama, and music to enhance the students experience. She encourages students to listen to their own bodies and be their own best teacher.
