I am a 33-year old woman who has made a lifetime of fitness into a part-time career. I was a competitive synchronized swimmer from the age of 8 until I completed college. Placing as high as second at collegiate nationals. I also ran competitively in high school. Since then I have remained active in a variety of activities including local road races racing from 5K to half-marathon, masters synchronized swimming and short-distance triathalons. I became certified as a personal trainer in 1999 when I was teaching high school and coaching runners. When my oldest son was born in 2001, I retired from teaching and primarily care for him. His younger brother joined the family in 2002. Personal training has been part-time work for the past 4-1/2 years. Now that my children have reached pre-school age, I have become certifed in group exercise and teach a variety of formats including bodysculpt (or Flex), yoga blend, Fit Ball Fun, Butts and Guts, HEAT, and Step Interval Combo.
I am still a "teacher" at heart and enjoy working with clients of all ages and abilities. I am an out-going individual who enjoys meeting new clients.
