Caitlin Carroll, Owner & RYT of Safara Yoga, LLC
Caitlin creates supportive, uplifting and challenging classes full of heart and great music. Her specialties include Vinyasa Yoga, Power Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation, Gentle Yoga, Children's Yoga, and Yoga Studio Classes. She is passionate about inspiring students of all ages to connect to their bodies, build physical fitness, and learn to move through stress with grace.
Bio
Caitlin brings a unique set of experiences to the mat. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200/RYT 500) recognized by Yoga Alliance and holds a B.A. Degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. She first became interested in yoga and meditation while volunteering in India, the birthplace of yoga, in the late 1990's. She began studying Mindfulness Meditation in 1997 and the physical practice of yoga in 2000. She continued her personal practice while working for international nonprofits where she gained experience in adoption education and teaching English to adults and children in several countries. Seeking to combine her background in the education field with her love of yoga, she became certified through CorePower Yoga's nationally recognized Power Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training program. She immediately loved being able to share the joy of yoga and was inspired by watching students transform through the practice. She formed Safara Yoga, LLC out of a desire to bring the healing benefits of yoga to new parts of the community.
