Keli Fortman

I began teaching yoga twelve years and have taught for a total of ten years. I teach Vinyasa, Power Yoga, Prenatal yoga and Stretch and Restore.

My full time professional career as a a birth doula and childbirth educator go hand in hand with teaching yoga. I work with expecting mothers and their partners through childbirth during the prenatal, labor & delivery, and postpartum period. Working with couples to ensure they have a positive birthing experience is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life next to being a mother.  Yoga has so many benefits for pregnancy the benefits of strength, flexibility, endurance, and decreasing discomforts in pregnancy. It even helps during the labor process to decrease discomforts and help increase pelvic space. The positive impacts of yoga hugely benefit the mindset for birth and even help people rewire their thoughts about their experience ahead. 

I love teaching Power and Vinyasa yoga as an athlete which personally helps me with strength building, mental conditioning, and relieve discomforts from sports training. I have taught several yoga for runners and yoga for athlete workshops too. I volunteer taught yoga for Ironman race weekends and volunteer classes for my triathlon club. I have taught PiYo, Pilates and yoga blend as well. I also lived in Belize part time and had the joy of teaching private yoga to bridal parties!

I‘m outgoing, friendly, supportive and nurturing person.  What I love most outside yoga and work is spending time with my husband and two sons. I am excited to share my experience and love for yoga with others. I have taught with Fit Bodies Inc. at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos, Secrets Royal Beach and Dreams Flora. I look forward to my next teaching vacation! Thank you for this opportunity.
