Jill Garrigan

I began teaching at age 17, just out of high school and have done it full time ever since. I currently direct the programs at Penn State Univesity. This includes teaching classes for credits, recreational classes, personal clients, and also running an instructor training program. The instructor training program turns out 20+ certified instructors each year.

Because I work at a large university I see 50-190 people in each class I teach. Our program sees 4800 group exercise patrons WEEKLY. At 51 I feel I am in the best shape of my life. I an not afraid to tackle any type of group ex. class. I often fill in for instructors and feel that I can deliver a good class no matter how long it has been since I have taught that type of aerobics. My strengths are toning, cycling and kickboxing, Yoga, Zumba, HITT, but I can teach any of the items indicated including water.
