I am writing this letter to express my appreciation and recognition for Susan Ritzer, Edge Fitness Spin Instructor, and her outstanding performance. I have cycled outdoors over the past 25 years at what could be considered a competitive level.  When I joined The Edge Fitness some years back and started spinning I did not think for one moment that I would be learning anything new in regards to cycling or training for cycling.

I have been proven to be quite wrong.  Susan Ritzer in particular is a consummate professional.  She is incredibly concerned to make sure all of her students are set up correctly and that her new students are attended to and checked up on throughout the class. We warm up and cool down to avoid injuries.  Her playlists are “the bomb!”  Not too loud and not to mellow. Susan speaks very clearly and concisely.  Her demeanor is sweet and is one of general concern for her students. But for me, most importantly, I have learned so much from watching Susan. Her form is flawless and her strength and endurance blows me away!  I honestly did not think I could improve my cycling abilities in a spin class but Susan has actually brought my game to a whole new level.  Simply put Susan "walks the walk".  Her form is perfect which matches her instructions. This to me is the most important ingredient for any trainer, consistency between her instructions and actions are clearly concrete as well as appropriate for any level. I would like to acknowledge Susan for her professionalism and her concern for her students. Susan clearly stands out!

I appreciate Susan because her personality and music blend very well with her class for a great spinning experience! Her spinning mechanics and her attitude are always are always top notch. It has been a true pleasure learning from Susan!
