Autumn Mist Belk

Autumn began working at NC State in 2006 as the Assistant Director of the Dance Program; she just recently moved to the Health & Exercise Studies Department to serve as a full-time faculty member (teaching dance, yoga, and other fitness courses). Outside of academia, Autumn serves as artistic director of the professional multi-media modern dance group Code f.a.d. Company, and her choreographic work has been presented throughout the United States, including recent performances in New York, Houston, and Seattle. Autumn was honored to be selected as a 2009 Regional Artist Project Grant recipient from United Arts, the 2010 Choreography Fellowship winner from the NC Dance Alliance, a choreographer for the NC Dance Festival Tour for the 2008-2009, 2010-2011 and 2012-2013 seasons, and as a teaching and performing artist in the Durham Arts Council’s CAPS directory for public school programs.
