Jennifer-Lynn Jankesh

An industry-driven professional in the field of medicine and fitness with extensive training in yoga, spin, and medical diagnostics in radiology.  Influenced by the fluidity of water, the vibration of music and the expression of dance, Jennylynn embodies a rhythmic combination of asanas (physical flow) accompanied by prana (breath work)) to liberate as well as lubricate the joints, spine and stiffness of body & mind.  Fluid, energetic and sweet, her style appeals to a mixed-level of experienced and new practitioners.  While focusing on alignment and protection of the joints, she draws an awareness of freedom within motion, the organic creativity that connects us to our physical and emotional practice while coaching mindfulness & joy through the movements.

Jennylynn is a certified RYT instructor who has been a practitioner of yoga since 1998 and teaching for over a decade.  She has studied dance for over thirty years and works full time in radiology as an Ultrasound technologist in Breast Cancr at Mount Sinai Hospital.  Her path in yoga has lead her to a deepening of her education on & off the mat and further trainings spanning across many different styles, cultures and disciplines, including time studying in India, Costa Rica and across the US.  She brings a very eclectic, challenging and creative flow to her teachings.

Jennylynn is also a certified spin instructor for 7yrs.  Trained and certified by Schwinn and Real Ryders, she's an inovator in the industry and creating a new programs withing spin, such as PX3, known as Pedal Power Pump.   In regards to the Scientology of Spin, this is not your average spin class.  (PX3) Is an engaging FULL BODY WORKOUT that plays energetic music and challenges the rider with motivating anaerobic intervals while toning the legs, abs, oblique’s, shoulders, triceps, biceps and back while maintaining fat-burning cardio levels.  With the use of light 2lb hand held weights to tone the smaller muscle groups that supports our bigger muscles for finer definition in our upper extremities, while keeping focus of body alignment on the bike with attention to core function, each ride delivers an intense, fun and safe environment for all levels to participate.  If you’re feeling pumped, ride harder, ride faster.  If you’re a beginner, bring it to a level of achievable sustainability and still get all the benefits from the ride. So if you want to transform your body and have fun while doing it, choose the workout that offers a chance to achieve something more and also give you a “peace” of mind & WHOLE-Body.
