I began my fitness journey in 2001 after a debilitating back injury forced me to change my lifestyle. Since then I have lost over 120 pounds and have  become a nationally certified personal trainer, fitness instructor, and Yoga teacher. I relate to those struggling to lose weight because I was there; I tried every diet known. Then, I finally realized there isn't a magic diet or a magic pill; there is only hard work and dedication. I love teaching people to take care of themselves through exercise and Yoga.
