Kelly Walker


Kelly has worked in the Health Care Industry for over 10 years. She first discovered Yoga in 2001 while living in NZ, and it was then shortly after moving to Australia she was introduced to Vinyasa and Power Yoga.
Always being an active person and a lover of sports, Kelly’s appetite for yoga continued to grow. It was in a health retreat in Thailand 2009 Kelly discovered her natural ability to evolve others in their practice of Yoga, thus moving her towards teaching.
Kelly has been teaching people of all ages since 2010 both private and group classes. Vinyasa, Power, LSD or Yin Yoga with a backdrop of music too.
“ Through yoga I’ve become more aware of my body, with an improved body alignment, after years of horse riding and a variety of sports. Yoga has taught me not to be so hard on myself and to live without judgement and expectation - continually developing patience and balance with myself, relationships, work and life. Yoga has shown how to respond to the challenges life can bring and there is always a positive way to view things regardless of the situation. Never underestimate the power of a big deep breath.”

Relocating to NZ, Kelly continues to share her Yoga classes with others. Kelly has trained with Duncan Peak (pioneer of Power Living Australia), Keenan Crisp (co-owner of Power Living Australia) and Tammy Pascoe (founder of NRG yoga).
