Hello! My name is Cynthia and I have been inspiring others to be better through fitness and activity for 15 years. I've led teams to complete their first (or best) marathon, coached indoor cycling and led group fitness classes both indoors and out. In addition, I teach yoga and am a certified health coach.
I do all of this from passion and love--and am lucky to work in sports marketing developing fitness and training collaborations amongst a major footwear and apparel brand and entertainment groups. It's important to me that these programs are scalable to any level of fitness. This means that they can inspire the inactive to get active and can keep the active engaged.
Today, I am intrinsically motivated to stay active. This is because I understand first-hand that the road to wellness is NOT easy-to-navigate (or to stay on track). As an overweight teen, I eventually learned to embrace this simple truth, “if hunger is not the problem, food is not the solution.” I also know that being active each day makes me happy and level-sets my energy to be productive in all aspects of my life.
My certifications include Group Fitness and Health Coach from the American Council on Exercise, Professional Coach through iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching). I also hold certificates in CrossFit Level 1 and Endurance; Schwinn, Spinning and Saris indoor cycling; JUKARI Fit to Fly; TRX; IndoRow, Ashtanga Yoga and Baptiste Power Yoga.
