Megan McGowan

 

Megan was first introduced to yoga as a teenager when she attended her first class with her mother.  She was immediately drawn to its physical practice.  After continuing to practice however, she began to notice it affecting other parts of her life.  It taught her patience and awareness.  As a dreamer always looking for her next adventure, it taught her how to live in the present and how to stay grounded.  She was fascinated with the fact that yoga can benefit anyone, regardless of age or physical ability.  In 2012, after nearly 10 years of practicing, she became certified as a RYT through Global Yoga with Rhonda Kantor.  Her passion for yoga continues to grow as she continues to train, currently working toward her 500 hour certification with Moksha.  She loves to teach a variety of ages and abilities, meeting her students where they are at.  She currently teaches Vinyasa, Sculpt, and Prenatal.
