I stumbled into my first yoga class in 2002 as a simple form of exercise. I never enjoyed working out but have always been drawn to movement; ballet as a little girl, cheerleading & Jui-Jitsu throughout grade school, and pole fitness as an adult. Over the years, I’ve taken from yoga everything it’s had to offer, it wasn’t until 2010 that I realized I had been taking much more than I had been giving. It was then that I started making yoga a priority and by 2012 it became my intention.
Through the inspiring instruction of Ame Wren & Lynne Begier, I achieved my 200 hour certification at Back Bay Yoga. Since starting my practice in 2002 I have explored the styles of Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Mysore & Bikram yoga with the hopes to explore Iyangar & Jivamukti in the coming year. My goal is to give back to yoga and my fellow yogis exactly what I took, strength, in every aspect of life. I hope that through my teaching I can inspire future yogis, like my teachers have inspired me, to have strength of mind, body & spirit but mostly of heart.
