Debbie Redar

My name is Debbie Redar.  I am married to Tim Redar and have two children.  When I married Tim, he owned one health and fitness club.  Since then and twenty five years of marriage later, we now own three clubs and one personal training studio.  My Husband is also a personal trainer and fitness consultant.  My daughter, Madisen, who Played Volleyball all through out her school years,  is attending Purdue as an occupational therapist, is also certified in group fitness.  She teaches two classes per week in a "metabolic blast" class at Purdue.  My family thrives on working out and being outdoors.  My son, a senior in high school, is on the varsity swim team.  Staying physically active in body, mind and soul, keeps our family healthy.  We love to travel and have the love of animals.  We have two 180 pound newfoundlands, one being water rescue titled.  I run my own company, called Stickchics, LLC.  I have a hand painted resort women's clothing line thru-out the U.S., Canada and now just recently Japan.  My biggest account is the "Dole Plantation" in Honolulu, Hawaii.  I am also an executive assistant for U.S. Operations Director for a large Oil Company in the Midwest.  I have an extreme love for "Zumba".  Being a certified Zumba instructor has now given me more friends that I ever imagined.  What is so inspirational is seeing some of my regular zumba clients lose 80 and 100 pounds.  I have always been physically fit at 5'10.  After teaching zumba 5 days a week, I have sculpted my body more than I ever thought possible.  I teach all sorts of latin dance types, along with hip-hop.  I was asked to teach academic "Zumba" classes at Purdue Calumet, but declined to take on another position that interfered.  I am also a gourmet chef.  I love fixing a variety of different dishes, incorporating many fresh herbs and vegetables as possible.
