I started practicing yoga in 2011 to alleviate lower back & neck issues and was immediately hooked!  I completed Yoga Alliance-certified RYT 200 training in 2012 at UpDog Yoga School for Teachers in Rochester, MI.  I am still working full time in my day job, so I have thus far limited my yoga teaching to family, friends, neighbors, schools, churches, and other community service outreach programs.

I take my yoga very seriously and practice as often as I can with my busy schedule, planning at least two days a week and sometimes three.  I am an avid promoter of yoga and its benefits to anyone and everyone I meet, be it family, friends, neighbors, or strangers!  I constantly tell people about the side benefits I have gained other than just plain feelining better, including a calmer state of being, sleeping better, appropriate weight loss, a smaller/tighter waist, an overall fit body, and lower cholesterol!  I feel and look great!

My goals with yoga are to maintain & grow my improved feelings & attitudes toward life and to pass this forward to as many people as possible.  I currently volunteer when and where I can, and I hope to make this a full-time retirement passion in the future.  My desire is to work slowly into teaching for profit while not losing the true meaning of yoga.
