I began my fitness journey in 2008 with a Mat Pilates certification, and that experience sparked a lifelong passion for movement and wellness. In 2014, I expanded my practice into yoga, and by 2017, I had added barre to my repertoire. Over the years, I’ve deepened my yoga practice and teaching to include Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Power Yoga. I’ve also pursued specialized training in yoga for kids and seniors, meditation and mindfulness, restorative practices, prop usage, and anatomy and alignment—especially through my Pilates background. I currently hold a Level 1 Mat Pilates certification and am actively working toward Level 2 and 3.
My certifications include:
- YogaFit (E-RYT 200, 2016)
- Power Pilates (Mat Pilates, 2008)
- Beyond Barre (Barre, 2017)
- American Heart Association (CPR-AED, valid 2025–2027)
I’m proud to be affiliated with Yoga Alliance, Power Pilates, Beyond Barre, and the American Heart Association.
Professionally, I’ve taught yoga, Pilates, barre, and strength training across North Carolina. I currently teach at UNC Wellness Center in Cary and Chapel Hill (2024–present). Previously, I worked at Bethpage at Creekside in Durham (2021–2023), Vidant Wellness Center in Greenville (2016–2021), Champions Fitness (2012–2018), and Fit for Life (2009–2018).
In every class I teach, I focus on thoughtful design, engaging music, and meaningful connection with my students. I offer modifications to support all levels, keep my classes fresh and inspiring, and stay current with continuing education requirements. My goal is always to create a welcoming, empowering space where movement feels joyful and accessible.
