I have been active in the fitness industry for almost 10 years. After starting my education as a personal trainer through Interactive Fitness Trainers of America (IFTA), I decided I liked the "team spirit" of group fitness, so I became certified as a group fitness instructor through Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Since that time, I have been certified as a Schwinn cycle instructor (2007), a Pilates instructor - AFAA (2008), Les Mills BodyPump instructor (2010), and R.I.P.P.E.D. instructor (2012). I have taught at the Omni Club in Athens, GA and currently teach at Gold's Gym RIchmond (Willow Lawn location and Fan location). I have taught step, hi-lo, kickboxing, sculpting (free weights, barbell, bands, ball, etc.), bootcamp, HIIT, cycle and stretch. I am competent using all equipment at the gym, teaching body weight only classes, and have taught classes as small as 2 people and some as large as 60.
In addition to teaching group fitness classes, I am a full time attorney with BrownGreer PLC in Richmond, VA. I attended The University of Georgia where I recieved an undergraduate degree in Public Relations, and attended the University of Richmond School of Law.
