A Pisces and, thus, a fish from birth, Becky Bridson developed a passion for movement and sport from a very early age. She learned to swim at the ripe old age of 30 months and many, many, many…many, seriously, many months later owns and operates Action Potential, LLC, a business steering its fitness sails toward and sharing its exercise enthusiasm with an energetic and gifted clientele.
"I think my clients inspire me more than I them,” Bridson says. “Everyday they’re more and more committed to their health and fitness."
She has a Masters of Science in Education with an emphasis in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Practitioner of Yamuna Body Rolling, a unique, cutting-edge form of exercise that provides myo-fascial release and body realignment, enhancing movement and performance. She is also a Certified Water Safety Instructor through the American Red Cross.
Becky participated in a variety of sports throughout her youth, including 14 years of basketball. She has a B.A. in Journalism/PR from Washburn University, where she earned a full athletic scholarship and finished out her basketball-playing career. She has extensive writing experience with articles appearing in a variety of publications and mediums. She currently writes for Lawrence Magazine.
