I received my certification in January 2011 and teach roughly 7 classes per week.

My strengths as an instructor are using a structured program with intervals and hill work. I use visualization woven into the program to keep things interesting for both accomplished outdoor riders and those getting on the bike for the first time.

I use precieved rate of exertion to teach to different participants with varying levels of fitness, and bringing a high energy level to the room to get the most out of each participant. This leaves them feeling good about what they just achieved in the class and wanting to come back for more.

I also use bootcamp techniques and sections intermixed into the riding class to create a longer full body workout. Participants love this class as they get good cardio as well as good overall muscle work in the same workout.
