QUINTA STARGELL

Although her mother states she was dancing before she could walk, Quinta Nicole Stargell started displaying her passion for dance publicly at the tender age of 9 as a Huntsville Starlette.  She continued to evolve as a dancer on several school dance and cheerleading teams including Liberty Middle School Dance Team, Bob Jones High School Varsity Dance Team, ASMS Varsity Cheerleading Team, Alabama A&M Maroon Mirage Dance Team, and Xavier University Gold Star Dance Team. She also had an exciting dance career in New Orleans, Louisiana where she was a professional cheerleader for the NFL as a New Orleans Saintsation before returning home to Alabama.  Quinta begin her Salsa career in 2008, training with Jacques Eckles at Salsa Inferno. She enjoys teaching and encouraging ladies how to let go and style with individuality, confidence and flare.  She also enjoys teaching children’s classes. Quinta started teaching zumba as a means to get back in shape and start dancing again after losing her son to SIDS in 2010. Now she teaches classes throughout the Huntsville metropolitan area, encouraging participates to reach fitness goals and have fun at the same time.
