My name is Mckenzie Wright. I am a Sheridan College Visual Merchandising graduate, and currently work in prop production. I have been involved in the fitness community for over 5 years. I am a certified boxing/kickboxing instructor (CABA, CASK), and currently teach fitness boxing classes, as well as coach competitive boxers out of Radix Performance Fitness, a sports and conditioning centre. My students range from youth to adult, beginner to advanced. I am able to incorporate cardio, strength training, and flexibility in my classes through the use of non-contact martial arts techniques, to help my students achieve their fitness and martial arts goals, but most importantly to enjoy themselves.
I have been a competitive boxer and kickboxer for the past 6 years. Starting out as a kickboxer, I have won multiple titles including 3x National Champion, 3x North American Champion, and multiple medals at the world championships. To seek higher competition, I began competing in boxing 3 years ago, and have since switched to boxing full time. During that time I have won 3 Provincial Championships, 2 National Championships, and medaled at the Pan American Boxing Championships. I currently train out of Kombat Arts Training Academy 5 times per week, and have 3 strength and conditioning sessions per week at Radix Performance.
When not training for competition or training my students, I enjoy baking, art, running, and travel!
