Fitness has been a part of my life since I began playing sports at the age of 13. My inspiration in becoming a certified trainer and instructor was to share my love for health and fitness and hopefully, to inspire others around me to make fitness a part of their daily lives. I strive to be a role model to all of my participants and clients as well as my husband and three children, ages 9, 7 and 5. In my free time, I like to cycle outdoors. I have participated in the American Cancer Society ride and the MS150 City to Shore Tour. I also coach soccer for my three children and am vice-president of their elementary school’s home and school association. This fall, I plan to kick off “Families in Trainingâ€Â at the elementary school. I have a B.S. in Quantitative Business Analysis from Penn State and gave up a management training program at a Main Line Insurance company to stay at home with my children part time in 1996, until finally getting laid off after 10 years of service in 1999, while expecting my third child. I earned my first certification and began teaching step classes in 1994 and haven’t stopped learning since. I am currently certified in step aerobics, cycle REEBOK, yoga, Body Pump, Body Flow, RPM, Resist-a-ball, CPR and Personal Training. In addition to keeping my certifications current and continuing education, I would like to attain Aqua and Tai Chi certifications.
